Gosuslugi Launches Online Service for Drafting Marriage Contracts
The Gosuslugi Portal Now Offers a “Marriage Contract” Service as Part of the “Notary Services” Life Event.
Future spouses and people who are already married can prepare a draft document and set the terms of their property relations online.
To use the service, users simply need to open the “Marriage Contract” page in the “life events” catalog and fill out the document electronically. The contract can then be certified by a notary.
A marriage contract defines the property rights and obligations of spouses during the marriage and in the event of divorce.
“Life events” services bring together related government services and reference information under a single topic, providing access through a one-stop interface. This saves time, eliminates unnecessary visits to government agencies and reduces the need to collect documents – information already available in government systems is loaded automatically.
