RTK-TsOD Expands Data Center Rack Capacity by 50%
RTK-TsOD has completed a five-year expansion program that boosted its data center rack capacity by 50% and expanded its distributed infrastructure across Russia.

The company announced the successful completion of a large-scale five-year development program, resulting in the creation of a distributed network designed to place data storage capacity as close to users as possible.
Total investment under the program reached about 38 billion rubles ($480 million). Also, the company said a significant share of the funding went toward regional projects and upgrades to engineering infrastructure. RTK-TsOD’s data center rack fleet grew by 50% to 27,600 units, driven both by the expansion of key Moscow clusters and the development of facilities in other parts of the country.
Last year alone, the company invested 3.6 billion rubles ($46 million) in launching a new TsOD (data center) facility in Nizhny Novgorod and expanding additional phases at its site in Udomlya. The network added about 1,400 rack units over the year. In parallel, RTK-TsOD continued expanding its regional footprint, developing a hub in Yekaterinburg and launching a project in St. Petersburg.
