Russian cybersecurity developer F6 has introduced a new protection system. F6 Attack Surface Management (ASM) is an active scanning service that monitors open sources and network environments. According to the company, it identifies vulnerabilities, insecure configurations, and suspicious activity across the digital perimeter of protected organizations.

The service operates in a safe mode that complies with the regulatory requirements of the organization whose infrastructure is being assessed.

Checking for Vulnerabilities

Since the start of 2026, Russian companies have recorded 425 critical issues, including outdated software and insecure server configurations, according to the developer’s estimates. On average, each company manages more than 4,000 digital assets that could serve as entry points for cybercriminals. F6 Attack Surface Management (ASM) analyzes these assets and flags vulnerable ones, enabling organizations to assess their exposure to a full range of external attacks.

“F6 ASM TRY makes it possible not only to identify vulnerabilities but also to understand their potential for exploitation by malicious actors. This allows companies to quickly adapt to new and constantly evolving threats,” said Evgeny Chunihin, Business Lead for Threat Intelligence and Attack Surface Management at F6.

The new service has been included in the Russian software registry.
