AI-Equipped Vehicle Deployed in Kirov to Detect Urban Violations
City authorities have launched a pilot in which a camera-equipped car identifies rule violations without human inspectors.

In the Pervomaysky district of Kirov, officials have introduced an experimental system using a specially equipped vehicle to monitor compliance with urban maintenance rules.
Previously, inspectors had to patrol routes manually to identify violations. Now that work is handled by a vehicle fitted with specialized equipment: a high-resolution 360-degree camera captures license plates even in low-visibility conditions and sends the data to a municipal server. The system detects improper parking on lawns and sidewalks, ice buildup on rooftops, and unauthorized excavation work. After analyzing each case, the software automatically generates a violation report, leaving a specialist to review and send the documentation.
During the spring and summer season, the vehicle will regularly patrol the area. If successful, the pilot could be expanded to other parts of the city.
