Gubkin University Students Train in Russian Information Security Solutions
The Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas has completed a training program for information security professionals.
The training used Aladdin Enterprise CA with Alt operating systems. As part of the Shifrovalshchik (Encryption Specialist) course, 58 students completed hands-on training at the laboratory of Bazalt SPO.
The students worked with Russian technologies and equipment, including Alt Workstation and Alt Server operating systems, JaCarta PKI USB tokens, Aladdin smart cards, card readers and biometric fingerprint scanners. All participants completed the practical training and received certificates.
“Gubkin University has traditionally trained highly qualified professionals for the oil and gas industry, where information security is critically important. Through our cooperation with Bazalt SPO and Aladdin, our students have gained hands-on experience with modern Russian solutions for cryptographic information protection,” said Anton Uymin, head of the university’s laboratory.
According to Uymin, the university plans to expand this experience to other areas of training.
