Moscow Brings VR City Tour to Kostroma Waterfront

Residents of Kostroma can explore Moscow without leaving the Volga River embankment through a virtual reality experience at the city's newly arrived mobile Moscow tourism center. Visitors can also get help planning a weekend trip to the capital and learn about upcoming cultural events.

According to the Kostroma city administration, the mobile center's visit is part of a larger tour of Russia's Golden Ring cities marking the 60th anniversary of the historic tourist route. The venue also features a branded photo area where visitors can take commemorative pictures.

The program includes hands-on creative activities as well. Visitors can take part in a linocut printmaking workshop, a traditional printmaking technique in which an image is carved into a surface and transferred onto paper. The workshop is led by Yaroslavl-based calligrapher and artist Alexander Abrosimov, whose street art combines ancient scripts with contemporary urban art.

Organizers are inviting residents and visitors to discover Moscow's tourism offerings and take part in the free activities.
