Robots Build Ships in Russia
An advanced shipyard equipped with cutting-edge industrial technology has opened in Moscow.

Robotized systems are now being used in shipbuilding in Moscow. Details of operations at the newly opened capital shipyard were published on the city’s official portal.
The facility produces electric vessels for passenger transport. It operates a full-cycle production process, from metal preparation to painting and equipment installation.
Automated CNC machines are installed in the metalworking area, where smart systems cut frame components and hull side panels to precise specifications. Advanced robotic equipment is also used for a range of other tasks. The plant is considered one of the most technologically advanced shipyards in Europe.
Uncrewed Patrol Boats
According to Igor Nagornov, chief mechanic at the Moscow shipyard, robotic installations significantly reduce both time and labor costs. Tasks that previously required several workers and took days to complete can now be handled in a single shift.
The site is also developing a unique uncrewed vessel designed to operate on the Moscow River. The boat will be capable of conducting rescue missions, surveying the riverbed, and inspecting the technical condition of underwater infrastructure.
