Rostelecom to Protect Digital Ruble Transactions With New Platform Module
Fuzzy Logic Labs, part of Rostelecom’s X.Technologies, has updated its Smart FraudDetection antifraud platform with protection for digital wallets.

Starting September 1, 2026, Russia’s largest banks will begin connecting customers to digital ruble transactions in phases. One of the key challenges is integrating checks for the new type of payment into existing antifraud systems without overhauling IT infrastructure. The new module addresses this by screening digital ruble transactions and wallets and processing the new payment data without interrupting operations or imposing additional costs on banks.
Lilia Sharovatova, CEO of Fuzzy Logic Labs, said the module’s launch coincides with a new stage in the development of the country’s payment infrastructure, as banks will now need to incorporate digital identifiers into their security systems.
Sharovatova said the module checks digital ruble payment details alongside conventional banking data. Smart FraudDetection currently provides fraud monitoring for half of all banking transactions in Russia.
