Coal producer Yuzhny Kuzbass has launched a digital platform for remote employee training built on Russian software components.
The platform offers video lectures, interactive courses, webinars and test assignments. Employees receive access to materials based on their skill level, while the system can also generate individualized training programs when needed.
The platform has been fully adapted to the specifics of the coal mining industry. It can simulate workplace situations and conduct knowledge assessments based on practical scenarios.
Developers plan to significantly expand the catalog of training courses in the future. The platform is also expected to become available not only to Yuzhny Kuzbass employees, but to staff across other enterprises within the Mechel Group.
