Mugumbate Mussollini: Our Main Goal Is to Protect Children in the Digital Age
Politicians, developers and IT experts from 120 countries have gathered in Moscow for the 2nd Global Digital Forum.
Today, they are exploring solutions for sovereign digital infrastructure, establishing direct contacts with IT companies and discussing the integration of foreign products into national digital ecosystems. Mugumbate Mussollini, director and founder of Children in the Digital Age (Zimbabwe), spoke to IT Russia about the first results of her participation in the forum:
– We represent Children in the Digital Age. I am the director and founder of the organization. Today, we signed a memorandum of understanding with a Russian organization. Our main goal is to protect children in the digital age. We want to exchange experience and knowledge with Russia and strengthen ties with the Russian Federation.
The most important thing for us now is to start working on protecting children in Zimbabwe, Russia and around the world as soon as possible after signing the memorandum. It is important to get this process underway, after which we will work in accordance with the provisions of the document.
We expect to see the first practical results of this partnership by December. But the work is already beginning in October.
