Muhammad Hamza Saleem: Artificial Intelligence Can Improve People’s Well-Being Around the World

Hundreds of foreign guests have arrived in Moscow for the 2nd Global Digital Forum, which is taking place at the Mechta venue in Gorky Park from October 8 to 10.

Many of them are looking for technology partners in Russia and discussing international cooperation and joint IT projects. Muhammad Hamza Saleem, Director of the Islamabad Region of the Pakistan Freelancers Association, spoke to an IT Russia correspondent about what such meetings can achieve:

– I work with several venture organizations around the world, including in Canada, the United States and the Middle East. One of them is Quantum Age, a company that develops computer vision solutions. I am also the director of the Pakistan Freelancers Association and am responsible for the Islamabad region.

I am very impressed by how well this forum is organized. I like everything here, and I am glad to be part of this event. Platforms like this give us excellent opportunities to network and exchange information. The discussions taking place here are very valuable and useful for everyone involved.

The topics are very diverse and interesting. For example, this morning we attended a session on digital childhood, particularly protecting children from harmful content and its impact. We also attended a session on artificial intelligence and the ways this technology can be used in the economies of different countries.

The forum program covers a wide range of topics, and all of them are interesting and important. But what interests me most is the impact of artificial intelligence on economic development. For me, it is important to understand how we can use AI to develop and strengthen the economies of different countries and, ultimately, improve people’s well-being around the world.
