Artificial Intelligence to Speak Bashkir
A unique digital project to train neural networks in the Bashkir language has been launched in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Under the instructions of the regional government, a special working group has been established under the leadership of First Deputy Prime Minister Ural Kilsenbayev to collect text, audio and visual data.
The main goal of the initiative is to create open datasets that will enable modern technologies to understand spoken Bashkir. Particular attention is being paid to copyright protection: all materials are approved by their rights holders, and documentation for government-owned works is prepared through official procedures. The first result is the publication of a collection of audio excerpts from the epics Akbuzat, Aldar i Zukhra and poems by Miftakhetdin Akmulla, accompanied by Russian translations.
Work on expanding the digital archive will continue. In the future, the accumulated data will help integrate the national language into the modern ecosystem of smart devices.
