Joint Institute for Nuclear Research Speeds Up Procurement With a Corporate Online Store

The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) in Dubna has streamlined purchases of standardized supplies by deploying a corporate online store based on a B2B-Center solution. The service has eliminated price discrepancies while reducing the time required to approve and deliver goods.

The corporate online store has been in use at the institute since 2023. During that time, staff have placed more than 1,000 orders. Purchase approvals now take an average of no more than three days, while deliveries are completed within five days. The store offers about 30 product categories, ranging from office supplies to office equipment and furniture.

The system is integrated with the institute's internal services, including employee authentication, the 1C enterprise management system, and its electronic procurement approval workflow. Strategically important purchases are conducted through the Tendery 2.0 (Tenders 2.0) platform, where more than 320 tenders have already been completed.

“The corporate online store has helped our staff quickly meet their purchasing needs through a convenient and efficient tool. Its interface follows the design principles of familiar online marketplaces, making it easy for employees to adapt to the new procurement process without spending much time learning the system or relying on procurement specialists to place orders,” said Valery Ivanov, head of JINR's Material and Technical Supply Service.
