Data center operator 3data and Tsifrovoy Ostrov have announced a strategic partnership to expand the market for modular data center leasing. The offering is aimed primarily at organizations that need to deploy IT infrastructure on their own premises within tight timeframes.
The partners expect strong demand for the new model. Customers will be able to lease fully integrated turnkey systems, while the modular format is expected to appeal to organizations facing a shortage of rack capacity at large colocation data centers.
