Robotech has opened a mechanical assembly shop in Perm, enabling the company to establish an end-to-end production process for robotic cells and 3D printers. These systems are used to digitize and automate industrial operations. The project required an investment of approximately RUB 60 million (about $733,000). Of this amount, RUB 41.6 million (about $508,000) was provided as a concessional loan by the federal Industrial Development Fund, while another RUB 4.6 million (about $56,000) came from the Perm Krai Industrial Development Fund.

Robots and robotic cells automate welding, assembly, palletizing, machine-tool loading and unloading, and other operations. 3D printers make it possible to produce custom parts with complex geometries. Robotech's customers include companies such as Ural, Izhnefteplast, the Avtokomponent Plant, and the Kamensk-Uralsky Foundry.

“For us, launching machining operations is about more than expanding our machine-tool capacity. An industrial robot is a piece of precision-engineered equipment, and when producing it at scale, it is critical to maintain in-house control over the manufacture of key components, as well as their geometry, precision, and repeatability. With support from the Industrial Development Fund, we have integrated machining into our existing production process,” said Alexey Paduchev, CEO of Robotech LLC.
