UserGate Launches Secure Web Gateway for Enterprise Web Access Protection
UserGate has commercially launched uSWG, a secure web gateway designed to help large enterprises and government organizations control employees' access to web resources.
The solution provides content filtering, SSL traffic inspection, and protection against phishing and malicious websites. It is available both as a hardware appliance and as a virtual appliance, a deployment option the company says is unique in the Russian market. One of uSWG's key features is its integration with Yandex Browser for Organizations, which routes users' outbound web traffic exclusively through a trusted browser to help prevent data leaks, including those involving unauthorized AI services.
The product has already been included in the Russian Ministry of Digital Development's software registry and is undergoing certification by FSTEC at Trust Level 4.
