Russian Company Launches AI Assistant for Car Selection
Users can describe their preferences, budget, and constraints, after which the assistant suggests suitable options from vehicles currently on sale.

Auto.ru has introduced a new feature aimed at simplifying the car-buying process. A beta version of its AI assistant, Auto.ru AI, is designed to ease one of the most difficult stages of vehicle selection - choosing the right model.
Auto.ru AI is a suite of neural networks integrated into the platform to speed up and simplify user interaction. The tool draws on catalog data, owner reviews from Bortzhurnal (Onboard Journal), and other platform data accumulated over 30 years. In dialogue mode, the AI clarifies initial inputs and helps users refine their search criteria.
Drafts Listings, Analyzes Reviews, and Answers Questions
Auto.ru AI has previously helped sellers draft listings and generate brief reports on used cars. It can also answer user questions in the Proshu soveta (Seeking Advice) section, analyze reviews from Bortzhurnal across 17 parameters, and highlight key characteristics with ratings.
Earlier, Autoteka, an online vehicle history checking service operated by Avito, began using artificial intelligence for more detailed analysis of used cars. The system compiles a report on a vehicle a user intends to purchase and presents it in a more accessible format.
