Russian Medical AI Services Set to Be Introduced in the Philippines
The services are designed to automate the analysis of medical images.
AI developer Platforma Tretye Mnenie and Philippine company Innovare Techne Systems Inc. have signed a cooperation agreement. It provides for the introduction of Russian AI-powered clinical decision support systems at healthcare facilities in the country.
The initial focus will be on services that automatically analyze medical images, identify potential abnormalities and highlight areas that require a doctor’s attention. Similar tools are available to medical professionals in dozens of Russian regions.
“Russia has something to offer Filipino doctors: medical artificial intelligence is widely used in everyday clinical practice in our country. AI systems operate in more than 60 Russian regions, and algorithms process more than 10 million studies annually. AI technologies are being introduced systematically: in 2026, every region is required to use at least five AI-enabled medical devices, rising to at least 12 by 2030,” said Yulia Zaitseva, director of marketing and external communications at Platforma Tretye Mnenie.
