AI Takes On Business Communication Tasks in Khakassia

Familiar communication platforms are evolving into full-fledged task management interfaces. In the near future, AI is expected to track assignments issued during conversations and monitor their execution status.

AI tools are becoming a practical part of everyday business communications across Russian regions, including the Republic of Khakassia. According to MTS, demand for AI-powered business features surged in March 2026: meeting summarization usage increased nearly tenfold, text transcription tripled, and visual and support tools for calls grew eightfold.

A similar pattern is emerging in Novosibirsk, where the online collaboration platform MTS Link (MTS Link) is used for around 70% of training and professional development sessions for government and municipal employees.

More broadly, one of the most widespread corporate processes in Russia - communication in all its forms - is undergoing rapid digital transformation. MTS Link is expanding features such as summarization, transcription, and AI assistants, while MTS Exolve (MTS Exolve) is developing AI agents and omnichannel communication tools for businesses. The result is time savings, reduced workload and fatigue, and a lower risk of missing critical information. In sectors adopting these tools, labor productivity is increasing - without the need to build new infrastructure from scratch.

Russian Platforms Gain Momentum

Russian companies are turning AI into practical B2B tools for meetings, chats, customer service, and telephony. These solutions are well suited for scaling across markets, including contact centers, sales, logistics, e-commerce, education, banking, regional government, industry, and large distributed enterprises. That, in turn, is driving additional demand for domestic platforms.

Platform maturity is also opening the door to export opportunities. A rapidly growing market for Telecom APIs and AI agents, along with the ability to integrate into corporate IT environments, supports these prospects. For countries in the CIS, the Middle East, and parts of Asia, Russian communication platforms may offer a flexible alternative to Western solutions. Over time, these technologies are expected to evolve from standalone features into full corporate assistants capable of assigning tasks, extracting action items from conversations, drafting emails, and tracking execution.

More Automation, Shorter Calls

MTS Link has expanded its AI features for meetings step by step. In 2024, the company focused on tools for automatic meeting summaries, text transcription, and chat summarization. By the following year, practical results had become clear: users conducted more than 7.6 million events, while average daily call time was cut roughly in half. Around the same time, Yandex 360 introduced AI-powered transcription of voice calls with short summaries. In January 2026, MTS Exolve launched AI robots to automate customer communications, followed in March by an omnichannel solution for handling requests from email, messengers, social networks, and telephony.

On the global market, a similar trend is visible in Zoom AI Companion, which can generate meeting summaries, answer questions about discussions, and support related workflows within the workspace.

A New Routine

Office and management culture in Russian regions is shifting. Technologies that were experimental just recently are becoming routine, and new norms are emerging in office work: meetings are getting shorter, decisions are recorded automatically, and corporate platforms are turning into task management interfaces.

In the coming years, the market is likely to move from basic features toward AI agents integrated with business systems. Much will depend on on-premise deployment, industry-specific model tuning, and secure data processing. If these solutions continue to mature, they could generate strong demand, deliver quick operational gains, scale across regions, and open export opportunities in partner markets.

2025 showed that entrepreneurs in Khakassia are shifting work online to save time. Many business processes have moved online, and companies are making use of AI capabilities. Beyond saving time, this improves the effectiveness of business communication and frees employees from routine tasks that technology can now handle. For example, a smart assistant can answer questions about meetings and correspondence, compile summaries of unread messages, and remind users about agreements and decisions. In effect, it can perform many of the functions of a secretary
