Perm Polytechnic Researchers Develop Digital Model of Alloy Behavior Under Heat
The model can determine the required parameters for alloys in just a few hours.

Researchers at Perm National Research Polytechnic University have developed a digital model that predicts how a metal alloy will behave when exposed to high temperatures. It can significantly reduce the time required by traditional methods.
Heat-resistant alloys are used in many areas of high-tech engineering. Finding the optimal parameters can typically take years, while mistakes can cause millions of rubles in losses.
The new model achieves accuracy of up to 99%. Tests using the Inconel 718 alloy showed that the maximum deviation between the model’s calculations and real-world data was no more than 1.15%, falling to just 0.42% during the parameter-selection stage.
Crucially, the system can complete these tasks in just a few hours.
