AI Center for Russia’s Construction Sector in the Works
The initiative is being developed under an order from President Vladimir Putin to expand the use of artificial intelligence across industries.

Russia is establishing a Center for Data Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Technologies for the construction sector, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said. The effort is being carried out under an order from President Vladimir Putin, who has called for a national plan to deploy AI tailored to the needs of each industry.
Khusnullin said the new center will help create a unified digital environment in construction.
“It will serve as an industry integrator for AI solutions, bringing together expertise, specialists, and best practices. This will help move work with project documentation to a new level, reduce the burden on experts and developers through automation, shorten timelines, and improve the transparency of the review process,” he said.
Notably, developers are building the system around a specialized machine learning model. It will work exclusively with materials directly related to the construction sector.
