More than 200 public officials in the Rostov region are set to learn how to use artificial intelligence tools in government work.

A training program focused on applying artificial intelligence in public administration has launched in Russia’s Rostov region. More than 200 civil servants are expected to take part.
The curriculum is designed to build skills in working with big data, digital services, and analytical tools. The project is being implemented with support from the Ministry of Digital Development, Information Technologies and Communications of the Rostov Region and PAO KB Center-Invest Bank.
A Tool, Not a Replacement
Regional Digital Development Minister Alexey Kopytov emphasized that AI is intended to support, not replace, human decision-makers.
Vasily Vysokov, chairman of the board of directors at Center-Invest Bank, highlighted the project’s practical focus.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to prepare a national plan for deploying artificial intelligence technologies across the economy, the social sphere, and the system of public administration.
