Dalur and Rostelecom to Digitize Uranium Mining in Kurgan Region
Rosatom's mining division Dalur and Rostelecom have signed a strategic partnership agreement on the digital transformation of production.
Rosatom Nedra's press service said the partnership is intended to improve uranium mining efficiency, strengthen industrial safety and enhance the company's environmental sustainability. To achieve this, Dalur plans to introduce a smart logistics system with electronic waybills and intelligent safety monitoring for freight transport, as well as deploy robotic systems to automate production lines and algorithms to forecast raw material inventories.
Another area of cooperation will be equipment maintenance and repair using augmented-reality glasses. The partners also plan to expand the Ekosistema ATOM-RTK (ATOM-RTK Ecosystem) project, which has provided autonomous, continuous online monitoring of environmental conditions and substance concentrations at the Kurgan Region facility since 2025.
