Global Interest in Russian AI Technologies Is Rising
New research suggests that foreign businesses are increasingly willing to adopt Russian artificial intelligence solutions.

Foreign companies are showing growing interest in Russian AI technologies as a foundation for developing digital products and streamlining business processes. According to a study by WMT AI, 70% of international business representatives say they are ready to start working with Russian AI developers, provided they can test the technologies before full-scale deployment.
Rising Confidence in Russian AI
The study covered companies from IT, industry, education, healthcare and other sectors. Most respondents were small and medium-sized businesses with up to 300 employees, although larger firms also took part. Notably, 20% of those surveyed said they fully trust Russian AI developers, while another 10% reported that they do not consider the use of foreign AI solutions mandatory at all.
Beyond Pilots and Proofs of Concept
AI has already become a routine tool for most of the companies surveyed. About two-thirds actively use AI in their day-to-day operations, while nearly a quarter are still in the pilot implementation stage. The most common use cases include data analytics and forecasting, document workflow automation, text processing, marketing and user sentiment analysis.
AI is also being applied to personalize customer services, optimize logistics and manage supply chains.
When it comes to expectations, foreign businesses primarily point to improved decision-making quality, the creation of new products and services, and faster operational processes. At the same time, respondents cite integration challenges with existing infrastructure, a lack of ready-made products and shortages of in-house expertise as key barriers.
Opening the Door to Global Markets
Experts note that Russian AI technologies have moved beyond the experimental phase and are entering large-scale practical use. Much of the potential for international cooperation is linked to the development of universal, flexible platforms that can be seamlessly integrated into global digital ecosystems.
