MWS Cloud Offers On-Prem GPU Servers for Enterprise AI Workloads

Many companies want to embrace artificial intelligence and clearly see its potential, yet cannot or are not permitted to work within public clouds. A new offering from the cloud provider MWS Cloud targets precisely this segment.

How the model works

MWS Cloud, part of MTS Web Services, has introduced a service called MWS GPU On-Premises designed for training and inference of AI models, allowing enterprises to deploy computing resources within their own infrastructure perimeter.

All servers are supplied by MWS Cloud with various configurations of advanced GPU accelerators. Enterprise clients can choose from fully prebuilt setups or assemble custom configurations tailored to their workloads and operational needs. Servers can be deployed either directly on the customer’s site or hosted in an MWS Cloud data center. Purchase and rental models are available.

The MWS GPU On-Premises approach enables the use of artificial intelligence without risking data exposure. The solution supports scientific modeling and CUDA-based workloads, deep learning, large-scale data analytics, video encoding and media processing, as well as professional graphics workflows.

According to the developer, the new service provides several advantages: a broad selection of in-stock servers, the ability to scale resources as computational needs grow, and full technical support.

There are many enterprises in Russia that, due to information security or regulatory requirements, can deploy infrastructure only on-premises. With ready-made configurations, MWS Cloud can launch them for companies within days, helping them shorten procurement cycles and quickly start working with artificial intelligence. The infrastructure can scale with workload volume and complexity, ensuring flexibility as projects grow and enabling adaptation to a client’s specific requirements. And the ability to rent GPU servers allows companies to convert capital expenses into a flexible payment model

Security at every stage

Critically, all data remains within the customer’s perimeter. The platform uses high-performance GPUs and is offered as a full-cycle service, from selection to deployment and ongoing support. This means Russian enterprises can adopt modern AI systems while retaining full operational control backed by MWS Cloud specialists.

The service is intended for companies that, under Russian law, must deploy GPU computing infrastructures within a closed environment. It is particularly relevant for industrial organizations integrating AI into existing on-premises systems, as well as medical institutions handling sensitive patient data in AI-driven diagnostics.

The new offering helps large enterprises and public-sector organizations introduce AI solutions without relying on public cloud platforms, which is essential for regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. In parallel, it lowers the entry barrier for AI adoption by giving companies immediate access to ready-to-use GPU infrastructure, potentially accelerating their transition to domestic cloud providers.

For government clients, such a digital product enables the creation of closed and fully controlled IT infrastructures, minimizing risks associated with data leaving the enterprise or country.

If MWS Cloud and other Russian providers continue to develop and mature such offerings, these services could attract international demand, especially in countries that require strict data localization and control. However, to succeed abroad, providers will need demonstrable reliability and adherence to global certification and security standards.
