A remote crane control system, Solvo.TOS, has been deployed in Novosibirsk. Three RMG cranes are now operating at the Sibirsky transport and logistics terminal. The platform automatically assigns tasks and tracks their execution. A single operator can control three cranes remotely from an office.

The technology has increased the terminal’s throughput. Remote operation reduces workload on staff, lowers the risk of errors, and decreases the need for additional operators.

A Competitive Advantage

In an interview with Kommersant Severo-Zapad, Solvo CEO Elena Grebenshchikova said the Solvo.TOS platform integrates production management, document workflows, and data tracking. The system builds on Solvo.CTMS, which automates operational processes, and the Solvo.DMS document management system.

“The base version of Solvo.TOS functions as a digital core, allowing additional modules to support virtually any type of cargo. This makes the system highly scalable. Solvo.TOS can automate virtually any cargo handling complex. This is a key competitive advantage not only in the Russian market but also internationally,” she said.
