Russian Company Introduces Video Monitoring System for Special-Purpose Vehicles

The Russian company NSCAR, a manufacturer and integrator of transport video surveillance systems, has introduced and already deployed an IoT solution that enables video monitoring without traditional recording devices.

The new technology is designed for use on special-purpose machinery and commercial vehicles, particularly in environments where installing standard wired surveillance systems is difficult or impossible.

Continuous Monitoring Without Complex Infrastructure

Until recently, installing remote video surveillance systems posed a serious challenge for organizations across multiple industries. The NS63 camera operates as a standalone network node, with built-in 4G and Wi-Fi modules. According to the developers, the device features a 2K digital camera paired with a 4-megapixel sensor and infrared illumination, allowing it to capture clear images regardless of lighting conditions. The system is housed in a vandal-resistant metal enclosure with an IP-67 protection rating, enabling installation both inside the vehicle cabin and on the exterior of equipment operating in harsh environments.

Artificial intelligence analytics further expand the system’s capabilities. When the camera detects movement within the frame, it automatically sends a notification to a dispatcher.
