Russian Students Use Neural Network to ‘Bring to Life’ Great Healers of the Past

Using AI, Russian medical students created a video in which legendary doctors of the past appear to deliver messages to the next generation.
In the Stavropol region of Russia, students at the Nevinnomyssk Medical Institute brought a creative idea to life with the help of artificial intelligence: animating historical medical figures from ancient Greece to modern Nobel laureates.
The result is a short video where AI-generated versions of these iconic doctors offer inspirational advice to prospective medical students. The project doubles as a knowledge test — viewers are encouraged to identify all the legendary figures that appear on screen.
Young Russians are increasingly using neural networks for artistic and educational purposes. In Tula, a young woman recently used AI to animate local art landmarks. Her video features more than twenty monuments, including the writer Veresaev, a dinosaur mother-in-law sculpture, a Acadimic Arrears monument, and others.
