A meeting at the Siberian Unified Dispatch Office of the System Operator of the Unified Energy System reviewed the results of the heating season and outlined development plans through 2031.

One of the key topics was the use of modern digital technologies to ensure uninterrupted operation of energy facilities. Particular attention was given to the Berezovskaya GRES case, where inspection drones are actively used, along with robotic systems for diagnosing and cleaning boiler heating surfaces. In addition, the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydropower Plant has deployed a system to monitor the technical condition of hydraulic structures.

“In the electric power industry, where the cost of error is measured by the stability of entire regional economies, only direct professional dialogue within the sector can turn long-term forecasts into concrete engineering solutions,” said Mikhail Shlomov, deputy general director of the Siberian dispatch office.

Advanced IT solutions are key to maintaining reliable system operations under conditions of steadily growing energy demand.
