Yandex B2B Tech Launches Module to Protect Enterprise AI Systems
The module continuously analyzes infrastructure and detects information security threats.
In the corporate sector, artificial intelligence has long ceased to be an experimental novelty. Large language models are being actively integrated into business processes, helping employees eliminate routine tasks and significantly speed up their work. But as AI systems become more widespread, securing them is becoming an increasingly pressing issue.
One of the First on the Russian Market
Yandex B2B Tech has announced the release of the AI-SPM module. It is designed specifically to protect AI systems. The tool is available through the Yandex Security Deck service and is positioned as one of the first of its kind on the Russian market.
The new tool is based on a methodology developed by Yandex B2B Tech specialists from YandexCloud and SolidLab. According to the developers, the AI-SAFE 2.0 framework provides comprehensive security throughout an AI system’s lifecycle. It links infrastructure components – models, data and servers – to vulnerabilities and recommends what protective measures should be taken. The approach is proactive, allowing threats to be identified and addressed before they cause actual damage. For example, the framework can suggest ways to prevent training-data tampering, protect a model from attacks using spoofed requests, or restrict unauthorized access. It has also been used to develop security-assessment standards for AI environments – a checklist that makes it easier to assess potential threats in a transparent and understandable way.
Continuous Monitoring
The AI-SPM module automates the inventory of a company’s AI assets. The system continuously analyzes the infrastructure and detects risky configurations without requiring manual checks. The tool enables teams to continuously monitor the state of their AI systems and systematically address risks in AI applications.

Market Dynamics
Yandex B2B Tech specialists note that the global market for AI security tools has been growing steadily in recent years, although it is still relatively small. According to Gartner data, the market will reach $2.8 billion in 2026. By 2027, it is expected to reach $4.8 billion, a 69% increase. Russia’s market is still taking shape: in 2026, its size is estimated at 1–4 billion rubles (about $12 million–$47 million), while by 2029–2030 it could reach 11–30 billion rubles (about $130 million–$356 million).
These forecasts are consistent with the rapid adoption of AI in industry, finance and government. Regulators, meanwhile, are imposing increasingly stringent requirements on the protection of the information being processed. In addition, the development of AI security tools could become a promising area for technology exports to countries seeking to reduce their dependence on Western technology giants.
A Security-Focused Approach
YandexCloud, part of Yandex B2B Tech, has been steadily developing its cloud platform with a focus on protecting corporate data. In 2021, the company voluntarily underwent certification for compliance with GOST requirements. Over the following years, it continued to strengthen the security of access controls and confidential data. In 2023, the company opened access to YandexLockbox, a service for storing secrets, as well as a tool for checking container images for vulnerabilities.
In 2025, Yandex B2B Tech expanded its portfolio of solutions for protecting businesses. In particular, the company released updates for the SecurityDeck platform. The updates included the Kubernetes protection module and ML WAF technology designed to protect web applications against sophisticated attacks. Thus, AI-SPM continues the strategy pursued over the past several years. Russia could become one of the early markets for such technologies because of the rapid development of domestic AI platforms and growing requirements for data governance.
