MD Abdur Rashid Sohag: Sсhoolсhildren Safety Is Our Priority
The 2nd Global Digital Forum in Moscow has become a venue not only for discussing technological challenges but also for building partnerships.
Delegates from 120 countries are using the forum to coordinate joint initiatives and sign cooperation agreements. These include a memorandum of understanding between the Bangladesh Startup Association and the IT Russia media platform. MD Abdur Rashid Sohag, a representative of the association, spoke about the prospects for the partnership.
– Today is an important day for me. On behalf of the Bangladesh Startup Association, I signed an agreement with the IT Russia media platform. I’m also the head of a primary school in Bangladesh, so student safety is especially important to me. Children’s safety on their way to school is a particular concern. Unlike many other countries, Bangladesh doesn’t have a school bus system. As part of our partnership, we’ll work together to develop a system for keeping parents informed. It’s important that they receive notifications when their child gets on and off the bus. We’ll begin working to implement the agreement as soon as I return to Bangladesh next week.
