Virtual Television Studio Opens on the Arctic Circle
NPO Varya has launched a virtual studio with XR technology in Salekhard for the Yamal-Media media holding. According to the company, this is the first studio of its kind on the Arctic Circle.

The complex is used for regular television broadcasting and operates with five cameras on tripods, rail dollies, and cranes. It incorporates the company's own developments — the Camix Vision 3.0 optical tracking system and the Camix Prizm platform. Five days passed from installation to full debugging of the process.
Virtual sets make it possible to shoot news, entertainment, and thematic programs in a single studio without changing locations.
According to him, Russian solutions account for at least 40% of the project. For a region with vast distances and a harsh climate, the studio expands production capabilities without the need for on-location filming.
