Reshetnev Develops Automated Test Facility for Communications and Broadcasting Satellites
The equipment design phase has been completed.

Specialists at Reshetnev are developing an automated test facility for communications and broadcasting satellites. The system is intended to test spacecraft, primarily those in the Ekspress satellite series.
The new equipment will be used to test spacecraft at integrated electrical test stations, in thermal-vacuum chambers that simulate extreme temperatures and vacuum conditions, and in an anechoic chamber during payload activation tests.
Reshetnev says the design of the new facility has been completed. The next stages will involve procuring and manufacturing its components, followed by equipment assembly and operational testing. The company says the automated test facility will make satellite testing more efficient and improve the quality of spacecraft preparation for operation in orbit.
