Perm-Based Company Showcases Wireless Industrial Controller at Tatarstan Forum

At the Tatarstan Oil and Petrochemical Forum, Eris, a company from Chaikovsky, showcased industrial safety technologies, including the LoraBOX controller and the ErisOksitsirkon gas analyzer.

The company began as a calibration laboratory testing flow meters and pressure sensors. That experience eventually enabled it to develop its own equipment designed to protect industrial facilities from explosions and poisoning, with explosion-proof versions available.

The forum's main new product is the LoraBOX controller, which combines a modem, access point and industrial controller. Once powered by either 220 or 24 volts, it can connect to a range of equipment, from gas analyzers to pressure sensors, without the need to install cable lines.

“Many customers buy the controller and connect sensors to it, so there is no need to build pipe racks or run cable lines,” said Dmitry Zhadko, the company's commercial director.

The second device, ErisOksitsirkon, was developed with the Ural Federal University using zirconia sensors. It is an industrial equivalent of an automotive oxygen sensor, designed for industrial furnaces and combined heat and power plants.
