AI agents can now access the portal’s knowledge base directly, eliminating the need to copy documentation into chats with them. Developers only need to enter the server address once in the settings of a supported AI agent; the agent can then retrieve the information it needs as it works. The specific connection method depends on the application being used.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that allows AI agents to connect to external data sources and tools. The server gives agents access to documentation, articles, news, release notes, answers to questions and source code for sample applications.

The agent can find the relevant section of the documentation based on a task description, select code examples from real applications for a specific API and retrieve direct links to the original sources. The server also provides full-text search, access to the full text of documents found, a list of additional tools and libraries, and general information about the portal.
