Testing of Components for Russian-Made ATM to Begin by Year-End
Goznak plans to deliver all key components for a fully Russian-made ATM to the Bank of Russia by the end of this year so they can undergo testing.
“I hope that all the necessary devices will be submitted for testing to the Bank of Russia by the end of the year. The results of this work will make it possible to assess actual contracts and buyer interest. We already have potential customers,” said Arkady Trachuk, head of Goznak.
According to Trachuk, work on the project is on schedule, and the first production unit is expected next year. Goznak previously said that the launch of a fully Russian-made ATM is planned for 2027. The project is being developed as part of efforts to strengthen the country’s technological sovereignty in the financial sector.
