Reshetnev University Plans to Launch Third CubeSat for Low-Speed Orbital Network
The Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology is preparing to launch its third small satellite, ReshuCube-3, in 2027 as part of an effort to build a low-speed IP network in orbit.

Researchers at the Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology plan to send the ReshuCube-3 (CubeSat) into Earth orbit. Together with two satellites already in operation, the new spacecraft will form a low-speed IP network designed to function similarly to terrestrial internet systems.
The university noted that the satellite’s orientation system, developed in-house, will work in close coordination with its propulsion unit.
Russian universities are actively involved in developing and launching CubeSat-class spacecraft. One of the key initiatives is Universat (satellite program), which has been run by Roscosmos in partnership with technical universities since 2016.
