UserGate's SIEM Platform Earns FSTEC Certification
UserGate announced that its UserGate SIEM (uSIEM) platform has received certification from Russia's Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC). The security information and event management platform, designed to monitor and respond to cyber threats, was certified under the agency's Level 4 information security assurance requirements.

The certification allows organizations in the financial sector, oil and gas industry, manufacturing, healthcare, other critical information infrastructure sectors, and government agencies to deploy the platform.
Because uSIEM is part of the UserGate SUMMA product ecosystem, the platform integrates seamlessly for customers already using other UserGate products, including UserGate NGFW.
"Obtaining FSTEC certification is an important milestone for any SIEM platform because it is more than just an entry in the registry—it confirms the product's security. It is important to understand that UserGate SIEM was certified not simply as an 'information security tool' based on formal criteria. It underwent the full cycle of testing in an accredited laboratory," said Dmitry Chebotaryov, uSIEM Product Development Manager.
