AI to Check Applications for Relocation From Unsafe Housing in Moscow Region
Moving out of unsafe housing in the Moscow Region is set to become easier: the region’s government services portal can now use a neural network to automatically check applicants’ documents.

The Moscow Region’s Ministry of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications said errors in uploaded files were previously detected only after an application had been submitted, forcing applicants to wait before learning about a problem. The system now flags errors immediately.
The service is available under Citizens → Housing → Property Status after users sign in through ESIA [Russia’s Unified Identification and Authentication System – ed. note] and select the appropriate municipality. Both owners and tenants of apartments in unsafe buildings can apply for relocation, with a response delivered to their personal account within five business days. Applications can also be submitted through the Dobrodel (Good Deed) mobile app.
