Russia Showcases an Uncrewed Rescue Boat in Saudi Arabia

The vessel is designed to rapidly deliver rescue equipment to maritime emergency sites.

Russia has unveiled its R-SAVER-1 uncrewed rescue boat for the first time at the World Defence Show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The civilian unmanned vessel is designed for the rapid delivery of rescue equipment to emergency sites at sea. It can carry up to 600 kilograms of equipment over distances of up to 800 kilometers and reach speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour.

Advanced Russian Technologies Head to the Middle East

State-owned conglomerate Rostec is also set to showcase advanced Russian developments in artificial intelligence and digital technologies at the INNOPROM. Saudi Arabia industrial exhibition in Riyadh.

Among the highlights, NtechLab will present its FindFace Multi AI platform, designed for high-accuracy, high-speed recognition of faces, body silhouettes, human actions, as well as vehicles and license plates. Meanwhile, the booth of Russia’s national product labeling system Chestny Znak will demonstrate how real-time digital tracking of goods works, covering the entire supply chain from manufacturing to retail sales.
