Russia’s Robotics Market Is Growing by 44% a Year
Companies are accelerating the rollout of industrial robotics.

Russia’s robotics market is expanding at a rapid pace, according to data from the Industrial Innovations Association. Average annual growth stands at 44%. Analysts forecast that by 2029, up to 10% of warehouses in Russia could be automated using humanoid robots.
According to the study, the total volume of the industrial robotics market has reached 87 billion rubles ($~1.0 billion). Over the past year, production increased 4.5 times, and the number of robots deployed at enterprises rose to 20,000 units.
Technologies for the Economy
Participants in the study say industrial manufacturing is becoming the main driver of robotization in Russia. Machines are being assigned an increasing number of tasks, which, experts note, has a positive effect on overall productivity. Large-scale adoption is expected as production volumes rise and technology costs fall. In Russia, such projects are supported at the state level.
