A Russian developer has introduced a solution that makes digital content accessible to speakers of 18 different languages — AI-powered subtitles built into MTS Link. The platform is used for communication, work, video calls, task management, and education. A neural network is now embedded into the service, automatically translating spoken text in real time. This makes it possible to hold international negotiations or webinars without an interpreter and also improves accessibility for employees with hearing impairments.

For Understanding and Preservation

According to the company’s press service, audio is converted into text during live online events, with subtitles displayed on screen in real time. Users can select a language manually, or the system can detect it automatically. MTS Link says the feature helps reduce companies’ operating costs and could be developed as an export-oriented solution.

Modern digital technologies are also helping preserve national languages. The Russian company Yandex regularly adds new dialects to its translation service.
