Surgeons at the Irkutsk Regional Clinical Hospital have successfully performed robot-assisted surgery to remove a pelvic cyst from an adolescent patient. The condition had progressed over the course of a year, and physicians determined that surgery was necessary. The use of robotic technology helped minimize the risks associated with the procedure.

The robotic surgical system enabled the team to perform the operation with exceptional precision while minimizing tissue trauma and avoiding significant bleeding.

"This technology allows us to perform complex procedures with a high degree of precision and safety. I'm pleased that we can offer this advanced approach to our young patients. I would like to thank the surgical team for their professionalism and wish our patient a smooth and speedy recovery," said the hospital's Chief Physician, Yury Kozlov.

The patient is currently undergoing a routine postoperative rehabilitation program.
