Lyamin Robotics Robots Begin Inspecting Utilities in Mariupol
Four devices are currently operating in the city.

Four robots from the Moscow Region-based company Lyamin Robotics have begun being used to inspect utilities in Mariupol. The machines can operate in confined spaces. This is particularly important where the direct presence of personnel may carry risks.
The production site is located in Dubna. The company's specialists manufacture components themselves and write the software. Around 50 robots are produced per year. The company previously made simple radio-controlled machines and now produces sophisticated devices for inspecting pipelines.
"Our goal is maximum localization of production. It has already reached around 90% — we have been working steadily toward this figure over the past five years. Now we are aiming for more," said Sergey Lyamin, head of Lyamin Robotics.
