Sakhalin Emergency Services Switch to Domestic Data Storage System
Russian company ATLAS has deployed its own data storage system for the Sakhalin Region’s civil defense, fire safety and emergency management authority.

For emergency response services, uninterrupted access to data is not just a technical issue but a prerequisite for operational effectiveness. The reliability of IT infrastructure directly affects decision-making speed, interagency coordination and the processing of citizen requests. The new platform is built on a dual-controller architecture with simultaneous data access through both controllers and high-performance solid-state drives, ensuring stable performance under load and capacity for future growth.
The project was implemented in line with requirements for government infrastructure and forms part of a broader push toward import substitution and technological independence in regional systems.
