Russian platform UREMONT has launched an AI assistant designed to help car owners estimate repair costs in advance and avoid overpaying. The service relies on machine-learning algorithms and a database of verified service stations.

Russia’s auto repair market has long operated without unified pricing standards. Even with around 120,000 officially registered service stations nationwide, customers have struggled to assess fair repair costs due to wide price variations.

UREMONT’s developers have verified more than 150 workshops and integrated the AI assistant into the company’s digital platform. The algorithm analyzes a description of the issue, uploaded photos, or a selected service, generates a preliminary diagnosis, and calculates an estimated price based on the car’s make, age, and the region where the repair is needed.

The system draws on a centralized database containing up-to-date price lists and service catalogs. Users can view offers from nearby verified repair shops and book appointments online.

Verification and Protection Against Overcharging

Both authorized dealers and independent “garage” repair shops can undergo verification. The key requirement is a transparent pricing policy and confirmed service standards.

The AI not only calculates repair costs but also compares them with market benchmarks, reducing the risk of unnecessary services being added to a bill.

The platform operates via a website and mobile applications for Android and iOS. The company plans to expand the service’s geographic reach and functionality. In effect, the platform is reshaping how car owners and repair shops interact, making the process more transparent and predictable.
