A college student creates a digital route linking Mozhaisk and Crimea in a seamless virtual tour
In Russia, a college student has presented a digital tourism project that allows users to travel from Mozhaisk to Crimea in a single click. Eva Araslanova studies Tourism and Hospitality at Mozhaisk College. As part of her coursework, she created an interactive tour combining her hometown with landmarks in Crimea.
The concept is simple – to show how travel can take place on a computer while still preserving the feeling of a real vacation.
Through Key Route Points
Eva selected key locations and arranged them into a single route. Users follow a virtual path from Mozhaisk to Crimea within the tour. The journey begins with the Mozhaisk Kremlin and the Borodino Field, followed by St. Nicholas Cathedral. The next step moves the user closer to the Swallow’s Nest in Crimea. Transitions are seamless, with no pauses, making the route feel like a continuous story.
A Vacation Through a Screen
The project highlights how tourism is evolving. Future professionals in the industry are no longer working only with map-based routes but also with digital formats.
Presentation and user experience are key. The goal is to keep users engaged and guide them through the route without losing interest in the journey.
