Rosenergoatom has completed the rollout of the Tsentr khimicheskoy podderzhki AES (NPP Chemical Support Center system) at eleven nuclear power plants in Russia, the company’s press service said.

The system collects and analyzes data on water chemistry regimes and the condition of auxiliary equipment. Built-in tools enable in-depth analysis of accumulated chemical data. It also includes modules for generating and storing reports, operational summaries and recommendations for managing water chemistry processes.

“In effect, a new, modern information system based on domestic software has been created, with a user-friendly interface that meets all customer and information security requirements,” said Artyom Golovaty, IT director at Rosenergoatom.

Improving Efficiency

Integration with the NppExperience system enables the rapid transfer of chemical monitoring data into a broader platform for collecting, tracking, analyzing and sharing nuclear plant operating experience.

According to Alexander Dorofeev, director of nuclear power plant operations and nuclear fuel management at Rosenergoatom, the analysis of water chemistry monitoring data helps improve both safety and economic efficiency in plant operations.
