Rostec Ships First Batch of Firefighting Robots
The robots are designed to tackle the most dangerous fires.

High Precision Systems, a holding company within the Rostec state corporation, has shipped the first batch of ANT-1000PM firefighting robots. The machines are designed to protect emergency responders by keeping them out of harm’s way. They are operated remotely and equipped with a specialized nozzle that can deliver fire-suppressing agents up to 60 meters horizontally and 35 meters above ground level.
The project was developed with support from Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade.
“Robotics is first and
foremost about protecting people. When a job puts lives directly at risk, these
machines can take on the most dangerous operations while specialists oversee
the process from a safe distance. It is also important that the ANT-1000PM is
built on a domestically developed platform with a Russian-made control system.
Using a single base vehicle, companies within our holding have developed an
entire range of machines, from firefighting equipment to municipal service
vehicles,” said Vasily Shpak, Russia’s deputy minister of industry and trade.
