Telecom operator Beeline has launched pilot testing of its “AI-inzhener” (AI engineer system) in several regions of Russia. The system is designed to support rapid incident response. It can resolve some issues on its own, while more complex cases are handed off to human engineers.

“We have launched the ‘AI engineer’ based on advanced artificial intelligence and the latest neural models. In just two months of pilot testing, it has processed around 15,000 requests reliably and consistently. Decision-making time has been significantly reduced, down to just two to three minutes,” said Beeline CEO Sergey Anokhin.

During the pilot phase, the system operates under human supervision. Over time, the developers plan to train the algorithm to prevent incidents independently. The project aims to reduce routine workloads that cannot be automated through traditional methods, cut the number of on-site visits, and minimize equipment downtime.
